​About Me
I started providing professional colour consulting services for Valspar and Resene to clients around Wellington and beyond. I've now extended the service to include floor coverings and fabrics and the ultimate Home and Shop option.
​
After my experience of working with paint colours - the common issue coming up time and time again - is that there are too many options. It's overwhelming. I have also come to realise many people don't know where to start. You can spend a lot of time running around from supplier to supplier - getting more confused with different opinions and advice. All this adds stress and sometimes leads to making costly mistakes - wasting time and energy then not getting the cohesive look you desire. Nobody wants that.
That's a pity as painting and flooring are some of the most cost-effective options to change the look of your home. There are some secrets you need to know.

It often good to start with them - they will advice on areas that need work, understand the market conditions - then I come in and help you make all the right decisions. Now I understand Colour Psychology and Colour Physics – it’s completely changed the ball game. I create an overall experience with a ‘human centred’ design process = how people will think and react in a space. This thinking helps make great decisions not just with my clients, but for the environment as well.
​
My background also includes a BComm in Marketing. Part of my marketing and sales work includes designing websites and marketing material for small businesses. Outside that, I’m a ‘Wanna Be Artist’ – so work with colour all the time. I’m fascinated by the results and difference colour makes. I'm also an avid life-learner.
